1.0. Introduction
Internet connectivity and access is a vital component in today’s world with the development of mobile devices, and improved technology has made communication a necessity. In the wake of lockdowns, millions and millions of people have turned to the internet to communicate with friends and family, obtain educational or health information, and protect a small degree of economic activity. Mobile devices are no longer considered an afterthought. This has become a need in our daily lives, particularly in low- and middle-income economies where the broadband connection is vast. Therefore, this assignment’s main focus is to investigate designs that can improve mobile phone and data coverage within remote communities in Cape York. A justification of the project and research on the subject will be undertaken, and two possible ideologies for implementation will also be highlighted.
