The critical issue facing educational leaders in PK-12 school settings, where not all students are academically prepared for their grade level in one or more academic areas (s).
During the COVID-19 pandemic, this mixed-methods study examined K-12 teachers’ feelings, experiences, and perspectives on online instruction. Instructors’ thoughts on the “new normal” following COVID-19 were also investigated and what might be done to prepare teachers for future catastrophes. During the pandemic, teachers faced numerous challenges, including a lack of student participation and engagement (or parental support), students without access to technology, concerns about students’ well-being, no face-to-face interactions with students, a lack of work-life balance, and learning new technology(Guillaume
