Hofstede cultural dimension is a framework for understanding the variation of the culture across the countries and finding out the ways that organisations develop their cultural performances. This cultural performance has an aim to distinguish the difference in the culture across the countries and find out the impact on the business setting. There are six dimensions of the Hofstede cultural dimensions; in this case study, the second dimension, individualism versus collectivism discussed here. 
Individualism vs collectivism: it is the second dimension of the Hofstede cultural dimensions. This dimension considered the degree where the society united into the group; it would be beneficial for developing employee empowerment in cultural performances. Employees of the different countries united toward the group member and they are willing to sacrifice their personal needs, and desire for the benefit of the group member the collection emphasises the value in the sense of their belonging, conformity, harmony, and they control over themselves, their words and actions towards the company open one though opinion for the development of the Unilever organisation. The employees feel that free words are immature for the decision making of the company developing cultural performance.
