1. What connections do you see between the use of Three-Act tasks and the kind of math teaching you think I’m trying to promote in our class? [100 words]
The three-act tasks were tasks that I enjoyed observing. There are connections between them; first task was to observe what mini bear, bear, and superbear looked like in the sense of how big they were. The second task was to measure how much the gummies were weighing to. The third task, was to inform us how many gummies would equal to one superbear.
2. What information do the noticing and wonderings give you about the students’ everyday knowledge and their knowledge of mathematics? [100 words]
