Please consider the role of US Intelligence since World War II.  There were essentially two periods, the Cold War from 1945 to 1990 and the War on Terrorism from the early 1980’s to the present.
Please consider the government’s role in Intelligence during each period (i.e. Federal, State, Local) and distinguish between how HUMINT and SIGINT was utilized during each period.
