Leadership model (200)
The situational leadership model is based on the ideology that no model is a perfect leadership model; rather, it should be altered as per the task requirements. According to this theory, most effective leaders can be defined by their flexibility and ability to change in a situation. This theory was developed by Dr. Paul Hersey and Kenneth Blanchard. They suggest there are four fundamental components in leadership styles that are telling- in situational leadership style, the leader suggests the employees what to do and how it should be done, selling- this component refers to the sales of the ideas and messages of the leader to the group members, participating- as per this component the leader offers fewer directions, rather allowing the members of the group to take vaccine more active and take action on their own ideas; and delegating- This leadership approach can be defined as the hands-off approach to leadership as the leaders are less involved in the prices and the employees are mostly responsible for whatever happens.
