Tours to Aberdare National Park

We organize tours to Aberdare National Park, a place with unique history, attractions and picturesque locations.
Aberdare National Park contrasts many Kenyan wildlife reserves in semi-arid savannahs, plans and hills in dry parts. It is a cool lush Greenland with many rivers and incredible waterfalls. Artificial dams
enhance the environment for aquatic life and certain bird species. The Park is about 160 km (99 miles) from Nairobi on the Nyeri side and 87 kilometres on the Naivasha end. Mweiga Airstrip is the nearest to the Park.
Aberdare National Pak covers an expansive 767 sq km (296 square miles) and allows visitors from 6 am to 6 pm Kenyan time. Activities with the Park should occur between 6 am and 9 pm at designated areas. The Park is open all year, but the best times to visit are during the dry season in January –March and June –September.
Unique aspects
The place got worldwide recognition since 1952 when Princess Elizabeth learned that she had become the Queen of England after her father’s death while she was staying at Treetops Hotel in the Park. Other unique aspects of the Park are:

Headquarters to the legendary freedom fighter and leader of Mau Mau uprising fighters in the 1950s
A habitat to rare animals like black leopard, bongos and black rhino
Two different environments. The largest area is a high moorland and peak with mountains. Their elevation is 2000 to 4,000 meters. A lower salient environment on the East side has dense rainforest and accommodates more wildlife.
